Website Re-Design

Results:

This work raised the overall conversion rate on their website from 5.17% to 6%. Thats a 16% lift in just 30 days! We were also able to increase engagement with more time on site and deeper scroll depth across both mobile and desktop devices.

Problem:

Art of Skincare was operating on an e-commerce platform that was too complicated and expensive for their business needs. This resulted in lack of website innovation and modernization.

Solution:

  • Transitioned site seamlessly over to Shopify by mapping of business requirements, creating solutions for problems or platform differences, and ensuring continuity of data flow.

  • Re-designed the website for increased engagement and conversion.

  • Updated creative assets, mega menu, and homepage layout.

Key Changes:

  • Redesigned header to take up less real estate while keeping customer's most common clicks easily accessible

  • Updated visuals to in-house photography that felt welcoming, fun, and on-brand.

  • Conducted research to determine how customers preferred to shop and utilized that information to create relevant "Shop by Concern" collections available right on the home page. The second most popular method was by product type, so we created an inviting section for that path to be easily accessed as well.

  • Created multiple slots for banner assets that can be easily switched in and out as promotions and events vary throughout the year.

  • Education was very important to this client, so we made sure that their blog content was beautifully displayed on the home page and the customer has the ability to switch them out with a few clicks, always keeping their featured content fresh.

  • We removed many assets that weren't speaking to the customer base in the right way or the right place which was causing page bounce, lack of engagement, and no scroll depth at all.
